Martha-AndersonMartha is a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider, and a National Certified Counselor. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from The University of Memphis. She not only provides individual and family therapy with clients in her private practice, but also conducts intensive outpatient groups with adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience in working with addictions, mental health and trauma, as well as individuals struggling with codependency and low self- esteem. She is certified in EMDR. She believes in creating a therapeutic environment that fosters safety and support. Her belief about therapy is that it is a collaborative effort between therapist and client, with the therapist working to help the client build on the resources within them and learn new, effective tools to effect change. She integrates components of DBT, Solution- Focused Brief Therapy and Client-Centered Theory.
